The elusive Jay wheel is finally back! For the last six years I have been trying to make these wheels because I forgot what the material was after making a few batches and didn't write it down! After tons of trial and error for many years I finally got it again (and I wrote it down again this time, so I won't forget how to make these ever again!) It's a really special thing to have these wheels back again! They are many people's favorite wheels. They often sell between $75-$150 used on the resale market! Now you can get a brand new set for much less than that! These wheels are pretty limited because the material is already out of stock, I got what I could to work with, and will get more as soon as it becomes available! These may not be in stock all the time but I will do my best to make them available as much as possible. These are more grippy than other FlatFace wheels but they are not urethane, and they are harder and less grippy than urethane. The closest wheel to compare it to is probably the Blistered x FlatFace G4 72-D Ultra, these Jay wheels are are slightly harder and slightly less grippy with a smoother feel.
Original description from 2019: The long awaited Jay Linehan Pro Wheel is now here! Featuring our G4 Shape design and a 100% unique material. These wheels are a slightly off-white compared to our regular white wheels, and a bit softer without being too grippy! The material gets darker with use, just like a real skateboard wheel. These are epic!
Color brightness of the brand new wheels may vary slightly from batch to batch. The Jay material also gets darker in color over time and with use, just like a real skate wheel.
Our wheels feature real miniature ball bearings, just like a real skateboard wheel. These fit all trucks, but are specially designed for optimal performance and durability with blackriver trucks.
