Pro tips: For a head start on a faster break-in period, you can rub a small amount of water on the tape and lightly scrape it with your fingernail, or rub it lightly with a file, before putting the tape on your board.
For cleaning if your tape gets dusty or dirty during use, you can stick on some regular tape (packing tape, masking tape, duct tape, etc.) and peel it off. Some people prefer to use lens wipes or rub the tape with a small amount of water. All these tips can be used on any type of foam tape by the way!
