Fingerboard Rendezvous is the first and biggest public fingerboard event in the USA. At Rendezvous 12 you will get to ride the latest and greatest ramps and parks, and meet new friends who share the same passion of fingerboarding as you, as well as many riders from the FlatFace and Blackriver teams. There will be a contest and raffles with prizes from some great companies such as Flatface, Blackriver, Berlinwood, and many more. This Rendezvous is in a new location in the same building, with loads of improvement across the board, including better setup, lighting, planning and more! It's going to be the best one yet!

Fingerboard Rendezvous 12 will be held in North Andover, MA on April 7th, 2012, from 11:30am untill 6pm.

History:
Back when I started fingerboarding, any fingerboarders meeting up was almost unheard of. And of course there were never any events. People just thought “I wish I was in Germany so we could have events here” but nobody did anything. So eventually I decided to try and hold an event. It got cancelled 2 days before it happened, but then the next day, Taylor Rosenbauer and 3 of his friends announced that they could come, and so I gathered all the fbers in Andover (around 6 or 7) and we had around 10 people here. Although that seems tiny today, back then it was a huge step in what would become the biggest American fb event, and the first. After seeing footage of rendezvous 1, everyone was pumped on fingerboarding. The next rendezvous had 20 or 30 people at least, and people started traveling from farther away. Ever since, the rendezvous has grown to be a huge international event, with many people attending from other countries, most notably the blackriver guys from Germany! Anyways, I just wanted to give a bit of background about Rendezvous to anyone here who wasn’t around from its beginnings. I hope to see you at the next Rendezvous!
